WELCOME HOME CORKY!

We are extremely happy that Corky has arrived safely in Holland. His breeder, Carol Howell of Jade Mist Shetland Sheepdogs, has helped us far beyond the call of duty, very personal and friendly. Thanks to her excellent help and the help of Rachael Toren who accompanied Corky on his long trip to Holland, we now have a new puppy to care for. And what a cute puppy he is!

Corky is born on May 28, 2005 which is a special date for us, for he shares his birthday with Shelley's puppies who were born on the very same day back in 1992.
Corky's Sire is Ch. Ilemist As You Like It (Oliver) and his Dam is Laureate Tiramisu (Tira). Sadly his mom died in June 2009 at the young age of 9.

Corky has the sweetest temperament I've ever seen in a Sheltie. There is not a bad bone in his body and he is not at all reserved. He loves all people and his favorite past time is to play with other dogs. He's like a Golden Retriever in a Sheltie wrapping. He's also a whopping 18 inches tall which gives us a lot to love!

In September 2006 we added little Phoebe to our family. Corky lets her get away with everything. She can bite his ears, tail and paws, he doesn't even growl.. He's such a good boy!
